Dr. Sharon Hampton
As the Assistant Principal at Bethune Bowman Elementary School,
Dr. Hampton "Works to Build a World Class School" by ensuring
student safety, enforcing student discipline, troubleshooting
school transportation issues, managing textbooks, CDEPP, and Title
1.
She holds a BS in Elementary Education from Claflin University, a
Masters in Elementary and Secondary Guidance, a Masters in
Elementary Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Administration
from South Carolina State University .
Prior to joining the Bethune-Bowman Elementary School
administrative team, Dr. Hampton was employed by Orangeburg
Consolidated School District 3 as a teacher and guidance counselor.
She also taught twelve years at Whittaker Elementary School. While
at Whittaker, she was named Teacher of the Year and a District
Finalist.
She is the youngest of ten siblings. Dr. Hampton is a proud member
of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
