For many Pre-K students, Monday, August 15, 2016 will be a significant milestone in their lives as they attend their first ever day of school. Ms. Zachary is making sure that each student will feel welcome on that day as she is taking the time over the weekend to prepare the outside of her classroom with artifacts that feature each child's name. This is not only the beginning of a school year. This is the beginning of their Pre-K through 12th grade education. A little over 2 months ago, Bethune-Bowman Campus seniors participated in a "Senior Walk" that symbolized their journey from Pre-K to graduation. This is going to be a great school year fulfilling OCSD5's new core values of service, mutual respect, trustworthiness, humility, and relationships. Thank you Bethune-Bowman Campus teachers, faculty, and staff for doing all the things that go unseen in order for our students to feel welcome, safe, and excited to learn. Go Mohawks!
