10-5-16 Hurricane Matthew Preparation

On October 5, 2016, after the Bethune-Bowman Campus was closed for the remainder of the week in order to serve as a shelter for Hurricane Matthew evacuees, cafeteria staff including Betty Hameen, Cheryl Dibble, Rhonda Jones, Christine Rush, Elease Dantzler, Maggaline Parker, and Terrell Stephens checked on the food in the cafeteria to see if it was still under safe conditions. The power had gone out on the freezer and cooler which meant that old and cooked food had to be thrown away. Chicken also had to be cleaned and thrown away as well. All other food that was still safe had to be transferred to the warehouse.
