On February 19, 2016, the Bethune-Bowman PreK-12 celebrated Black History Month with the 2016 Black History Program in the gymnasium. Jordan haskell and Tamerria Felder presided over the event. BBES Save the Children performed a special dance, BBMHS Chorus performed a musical tribute, Tamerria Felder performed her MLK Oratory Speech, BBMHS Students performed a liturgical dance, Mohawk Pride Chorale performed a musical tribute, Dionne Gleaton from the Times & Democrat was the special guest speaker, and Zyreaque Green read a poem.
